FAQs
What is counselling?
Counselling can offer you a confidential and safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. Regular sessions can help you gain insight and work toward positive change. As a Counsellor I work with you to listen without judgement, offering empathy and acceptance.
I offer Person-Centered counselling and this approach believes that individuals have the innate capacity for self-awareness and healing. Rather than directing or diagnosing, I offer unconditional support, helping you to explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. The Person-Centered approach helps to foster self-discovery, personal empowerment, and emotional resilience, allowing individuals to find their own solutions and achieve meaningful change.
Everyone’s needs are unique, so I offer both face-to-face and online sessions—we can explore the options together and find what feels right for you. Counselling can be short-term or open-ended, depending on your needs. Sessions last 50 minutes and are typically held weekly.
How do I start?
If you're unsure where to begin, you’re welcome to book a 20-minute introductory call, where we can discuss your needs, any concerns, and any questions you may have. Alternatively, you can book one 50-minute counselling session and take it from there.
There’s absolutely no obligation—both options provide an opportunity for you to explore what you’re looking for in a counsellor and to see if I might be the right therapist for you.
Hours
I offer flexible hours to accommodate different schedules, including a limited number of evening and weekend appointments. If you need a time that works best for you, please do get in touch.
