About Me

Hello, I'm Sian.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

I know that looking for a counsellor can feel like a big step, and finding someone you feel comfortable with is important.

My hope is that this page gives you a sense of who I am, how I work and whether I might be the right person to support you.

I believe every person deserves to be heard

without judgement

Before retraining as a counsellor, I spent many years working in demanding corporate environments.

I understand what it's like to appear to be coping on the outside while quietly struggling underneath. I know how easy it is to keep meeting expectations and putting everyone else's needs before your own.

My own experiences taught me how powerful it can be to have someone who listens without judgement. That understanding ultimately led me to retrain as a counsellor, and I now feel privileged to offer that same space to others.

Today, I'm a Person-Centred Counsellor who believes therapy is about working alongside people as they explore their feelings and experiences.

Every person is different, so I tailor my approach to your unique needs, experiences and understanding of the world.

I believe that, given a safe, accepting relationship, we all have the ability to grow through self-awareness, understanding and self-compassion.

Alongside my private practice, I've supported people through my work with a drug and alcohol recovery charity and with Rape Crisis, helping survivors of sexual violence in a compassionate, trauma-informed way.

Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone.

I am deeply passionate about inclusivity within my practice. If you have any access needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we can work together to ensure you receive the support you deserve.

No matter what challenges you are facing, I am here to listen with empathy, understanding, and care.
